I Had a Revelation This Sunday Morning, and It Was a Pretzel
I don’t know about you, but for me, Sundays are made for small revelations and large amounts of carbs. This morning, while wandering aimlessly through my neighborhood — my thoughts more tangled than the mystery cables in a tech drawer — I bought a pretzel. Not just any pretzel. It was warm, brushed with something buttery, and covered in sunflower seeds.
And that’s when it hit me: why do we complicate everything?
We’re obsessed with productivity, growth hacks, checklists, and strategy maps. But a warm pretzel can deliver the same clarity as a full day of mindfulness. It’s warm. It’s simple. It makes immediate sense. No onboarding, no learning curve. It’s exactly what you want it to be — no pitch deck required.
So today, I’m not optimizing anything. I’m not grooming backlogs. I’m not reading leadership newsletters. I’m just enjoying a pretzel and the idea that sometimes, the best thing you can do... is nothing complicated.
P.S. If you’re looking for a UX lesson: this pretzel has zero onboarding friction and 100% user engagement.
